Boston Chinese Musicians Association (BCMA) was founded in 2012 is a non-profit organization which is for promoting Chinese instrumental and vocal music in US. At present time, the organization has about 50 people in orchestra and about 45 people in the choir. Our goal includes:
1. Promote high quality Chinese instrumental and vocal music works. Organize and assist the performances and classes for Chinese performing arts organizations, artists, music composers and music theory professionals.
2. Organize and mentor the Chinese music activities in Boston area. Promote music performance, composition and research through organizing seminar and workshops.
3. Provide the education of instrumental and vocal music study to youth and adults and promote community music activities in Boston area.
4. Study and collect Chinese classical music, local folks and dancing music of different nationalities of China.
5. Improve the communication with local musicians and join the local musical events of all the nationalities.
